Supported Platforms

Sysload Management Server is supported on Windows and Linux.

Access to the Web space is password protected. If you require a password, contact Sysload technical support.

If you upgrade from a 32 bit version of Management Server to a 64 bit version the existing files will remain in their original installation directory.

Communication Ports

TCP ports used by the Management Server (receiver) to listen to other Modules (initiators):

• 9900, TCP, bi-directional, used by the Management Server to listen to client applications (for example: Sysload Analyst Rich Client (formerly Sysload Analyst Console), Alert Manager) queries. In actual fact, it is the Communication Server that receives queries through port 9900 and acts as a broker for the Management Server.
• 9901, TCP, bi-directional, used by Management Server to listen to Alerts and configuration download requests sent by Agent Collectors.
• Dynamic, TCP, used by Management Server to listen to the Communication Server. Communication Server and Management Server are installed on same server by default.

TCP ports used by other Modules (receiver) that the Management Server (initiator) queries:

• 9501, TCP, bi-directional, used by the Agent Collector to listen to Management Server queries.
• 9502, TCP, bi-directional, used by the Agent File Server to listen to Management Server queries.

License

No license key is required for Sysload Management Server.
